Terms of service

These terms are between you, the Shopify store that installs Candor Bulk Editor, and me, the developer who makes and runs it. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

What the app does

It changes product data in your store when you ask it to: prices, stock, tags and the other fields its screens offer, by rule, by spreadsheet or from a file, now or at a time you choose. It shows you a preview before a run writes anything, a receipt after it, and an undo that puts back the values the run replaced.

Your part

You decide what to change, so please read the preview before you run an edit. The undo puts back the values a run replaced while that run is inside your plan's history window; it does not overwrite a field somebody changed after the run without telling you, and it cannot bring back anything the app did not change.

Plans and billing

Plans are shown, billed and changed through Shopify, on Shopify's own plan page, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice. On Shopify's own plan page, linked from Settings. Uninstalling the app also ends the plan.

Prices can change.

Your data

The privacy policy says what the app reads, what it keeps and when it is deleted. Your store's data stays yours.

No guarantee

I work to keep the app correct and available, and every run is checked field by field, but the app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect losses, and my liability for anything else is limited to what you paid for the app in the three months before the problem.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
